 ALIS is the only trilingual school in Cambodia, offering a full American Curriculum as well as Khmer and Chinese. The ALIS commitment to excellence has attracted students of many nationalities, making it a truly international school.

ABUNDANT LIFE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL was established in 1987 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA and in Cambodia since 2006 offering the same quality of education, without the expense of traveling to the US.

ALIS Cambodia is officially recognized by The Ministry of Education, Youth & Sport of The Kingdom of Cambodia. This recognition means that ALIS students will have the same certification of graduation as students attending Cambodian state schools. We are officially recognized as a member of Association of Christian School International.

We are officially recognized as a non-public school in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the United States. Upon graduation from the American program, students will be qualified to apply for admission to the universities in the United States and around the world. Curriculum
International Curriculum The International Curriculum is specially designed for students who do not know the Khmer Language. All classes are taught in English in this program offering the same quality of education as The Abundant Life International School in United States.

 At ALIS we are pleased to be able to offer two trilingual courses of study. Our students have the options of enrolling in:
English-Chinese plus Khmer Curriculum:
It is designed primarily for Chinese or other expatriate families who want their children to become fluent both English & Chinese. 

The core subjects in this curriculum are taught in English. Chinese classes, which are important to having an understanding of the Chinese language, including speaking, reading & writing as well as culture are also included. Additionally, Khmer language classes are added at the 3rd grade level to position our students to be trilingual.  

It is designed primarily for Cambodian students who want the same Khmer curriculum as offered by the Cambodian State Schools, but also wish to be come fluent in English. This very demanding course of study will follow the same curriculum as our school in the United States. 

The students who graduate from this curriculum will obtain two certificates at the same time: Upon satisfactory completion of the 22 credits of the American Course of Study, a diploma will be issued by the Abundant Life International School in the United States.

With the core subjects being taught in English for half of each day and the necessary Khmer classes to meet government graduation requirements being taught in the other half of the day. Additionally, Chinese will be offered as a foreign language beginning at K-4, giving our students the opportunity to be trilingual.

Upon satisfactory completion of the Khmer Course of study, a diploma will be issued by the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports of the Royal Government of Cambodia. This certificate is the same as that which is issued by the public schools in Cambodia.
